How to help a user Apply for a .RW Domain Registration.

This service facilitates the registration of RW domains and their associated second-level domains: CO.RW for companies, ORG.RW for organizations, NET.RW for network companies, AC.RW for academic institutions, COOP.RW for cooperatives


The RW domain is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Rwanda and is the official domain extension for websites associated with Rwanda. RW is particularly important for businesses and organizations that want to establish an online presence


The Rwanda Internet Community and Technology Alliance (RICTA) provides the service.

  • Billing ID Expiration Time: 30 minutes


Prerequisites:

  • Companies must have valid TINs.

  • Applicants must have a valid phone number.


Follow these easy steps to help a user register for a RW Domain.


  1. Visit agent.irembohub.com and log into your Agent account.


  1. Search for “RW Domain registration” and select it from the search results.


  1. Alternatively, you can find the service under the category named “Domain Services”.


  1. Read the service description and click “Apply now” to start an application.


  1. Enter the domain name the user is requesting and select the desired domain extension. The full name will automatically appear. Specify the registration period and continue.

Note:

  • A user can register a domain for a maximum period of 10 years


  1. Enter the domain registration details including the organization name, applicant's Name, contact information, and residence details as prompted.

  2. The currency will depend on the residence selected. If it is outside of Rwanda the applicant can either choose to pay in EUR or USD. Click Continue.

  1. Review and confirm the user’s confirmation. Then, add their preferred number and email for SMS/email notifications about the progress of their application.

  1. Click the checkbox to confirm the accuracy of the provided information.

  1. A bill ID will be provided so the user can make the payment. Click “Pay and Submit”.


Note:

  • After successful payment, the user will be notified that the domain has been registered, so they can proceed to use it. 

  • For any queries, advise them to contact ESICIA at 1330.
